7 tablespoons of fennel seeds
7 tablespoons of organic turmeric powder
4 tablespoons of coriander seeds
4 tablespoons of cumin seeds
3 tablespoons of cardamom powder
2 tablespoons of ginger powder (dry)
2 tablespoons of black pepper (whole)
1 tablespoon of cinnamon powder
Roast all the ingredients on a low flame except turmeric, cardamom and ginger powder. Now cool all the roasted spices and grind them together. Now, add turmeric, cardamom and ginger powder to this roasted powder and mix nicely. Store it in a clean airtight glass container.
You can have ½ teaspoon of it every day with warm water or simply use it instead of garam masala in your food preparation.
