2 tablespoons sesame seeds
1 ripe banana
2 to 3 mejdool dates (deseeded)
1/2 cup soy milk (dairy or non dairy – You can use any milk as per your preference)
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Pinch of sea salt
1 cup Ice cubes (optional)
Instructions to make the smoothie
Toast sesame seeds in a dry pan, over medium heat. When they start to smell fragrant and turn a little darker, remove from pan.
In a blender, blend sesame seeds until they are finely ground.
Add the rest of the ingredients and blend until smooth.
Serve it and enjoy immediately.
