Ingredients of beet chips
4 medium beetroot
2 teaspoon virgin olive oil
1/2 teaspoon ground rosemary
¼ tsp red chilli powder
½ tsp onion powder
Sea salt as required
½ tsp powdered black pepper
Wash the beetroots and pat them dry. Cut the upper portion of beetroot and cut thin slices of each beetroot with a mandolin.
Meanwhile, preheat the oven at 190 degree Celsius for baking beet chips.
Now, take a baking tray and brush it with a little olive oil. Add the chips in the tray and sprinkle a little salt, red chilli powder, onion powder and black pepper powder over them along with ground rosemary. Toss them lightly and then line them leaving a little space in between.
Put this tray inside the preheated oven and bake these chips for about 20 minutes. However, check after 10 minutes as beetroot burns fast. Once done, remove the tray and take it out.
Let the chips cool at room temperature and serve fresh. You can even store them in an air-tight container and eat afterwards.
