Oats – 1/4 cup
Water – 1/2 cup
Coconut Milk – 2 cups
Olive oil – 1 tsp
Carrot – 2 tbsp finely chopped
Garlic – 2 tsp
Onion – 2 tbsp finely chopped
Oregano / Any mixed herbs – 1/8 tsp
Pinch of Pepper
Coriander leaves – 2 tsp finely chopped
Salt – to taste

Steps to make oats soup
To prepare this healthy soup recipe, chop the onion. Then Put a pan on medium flame and heat oil in it. When the oil is hot enough, add the chopped onion and garlic, and saute till they turn golden brown. Then add carrot and cook until soft.
Now add the oats to the pan and roast for a 2-5 minutes, then add salt and water to the mix and bring it to a boil.
Finally, add the milk and black pepper powder, mixed herbs or oregano to the mix and continue to boil the mixture.
The soup should be that thick in consistency and you can add more water in the pan as per the required consistency. Put the pan down and switch off the burner.
Garnish the oats soup with chopped coriander leaves and chilli flakes.
