Mango shrikhand, also called Amrkhand is a dessert that brings together the goodness of mango and yoghurt and offers a delightful and nutritious dessert. Made with just a handful of ingredients and it is refined sugar free and so easy to prepare.
Shrikhand is a thick creamy, famous and traditional Indian dessert from Maharashtra, made with yoghurt or hung curd, and flavoured with cardamom.
Yoghurt has a cooling effect on the body. Yoghurt is also high in protein, calcium, vitamins, and live culture, or probiotics. Probiotics keeps your gut healthy by infusing good bacteria in the gut and killing the bad ones at the same time. These can offer protection for bones and teeth and help to prevent digestive problems. Yogurt also reduces inflammation in the body and strengthens the immune system.
