Ingredients of Sorbet
1 cup Black plum or Jamun pulp
1/2 lemon, juiced
A pinch of kosher salt
Maple syrup, as required
To make this frozen treat, all you need is frozen black jamun pulp. Scrape the pulp of jamuns and discard the pits and place it in the freezer overnight. If the pulp isn’t completely frozen, the sorbet will have more of a slushy texture rather than a solid sorbet.
Transfer the frozen pulp in a blender. Add maple syrup, kosher salt and lime juice into it and blend. Then allow it to freeze in the refrigerator for a few hours. It will result in more icecream like texture.
