These baked plantain chips are a healthy, homemade snack for when you’re craving something salty and crunchy. They are naturally gluten-free and paleo. Plantain is a rich source of fiber, vitamins A, C, and B6, and the minerals like – magnesium and potassium.

Ingredients for Baked Plantain Chips
1 green plantain
1/2 tablespoon sesame oil
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon paprika powder
Salt, to taste
Preheat your oven to 350 degree F.
Peel the plantain with a sharp knife. Then slice the plantains as thinly as possible with a mandolin.
Add the plantain slices to a bowl and toss with the sesame oil, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika powder, and salt to evenly coat.
Line a baking tray with parchment paper and place the plantain slices on the tray in one layer and bake for 15-20 minutes. Plantain chips are done when they start to brown around the edges. Remove from the oven and serve.
