Raw garlic is one of the natural remedies to fend off seasonal ailments and improves your immunity. It relieves congestion and cures cold. The cold-fighting compound in garlic is allicin, which has antibacterial and antifungal properties.
Roast a clove of garlic and have it with a spoon of honey before going to bed. This provides you to get relief from cough. Or, Chop some cloves, fry it in ghee, add to your food.

Flaxseeds for cold and cough
