Most of us just don’t have the time in the mornings to prepare a healthy breakfast, which is why I love to make smoothies.
Flaxseed is really great for you which is why I always like to throw a tablespoon into my smoothies in order to get the health benefits.
Flaxseed is a great source of protein, omega-3 fatty acid and fiber, as well as a rich source of vitamins and minerals.
Now letโs talk about the bananas. You can use ripe and frozen bananas, which will make this smoothie much creamier!
The added banana in this smoothie also adds sweetness along with the cinnamon which is why there is no need to add any sugar or honey to this recipe.
In a blender, combine oats, yogurt,ย banana, fat-free milk and cinnamon; blend it until smooth. Then serve immediately.
You can also add a spoonful of peanut butter to this smoothie for more taste and additional protein!
