This is a very tasty and healthy protein packed recipe, rich in omega-3 fatty acids, protein, beta-glucan, medium chain fatty acids, vitamins and minerals with no added sugar.
- Toasted coconut
- Rolled oats
- Freshly ground flax-seeds and chia seeds
- Honey/ jaggery
- Vanilla extract
- Chocolate chips
1) To make the no-bake energy bites, firstly dry roast 1 cup rolled oats. Take unflavoured oats and roast until the oats turn crisp and then transfer the oats into a large mixing bowl. Then mix with all the ingredients and just stir all of those ingredients together in a large bowl until combined properly.
2) Once the mixture is combined, put it in the fridge for 10-20 minutes, so that it will harden slightly. This will make it easier to roll it into balls.
3) Then once the mixture has cooled slightly, shape it however you like, and refrigerate in an airtight container.
